Hoppy Easter

We had a great Easter.  It was so fun to spend time with some of the California Rosdahls.  I wish that we lived closer so we could see them more often.  They were in town for the weekend and then on Sunday, Dorothy and Curtis, and Aunt Sandy and Eliza came over to celebrate with us.  It was a day full of good food and family. 

Lillie, of course, got spoiled.  I got her a baby doll.  It is her very first and she LOVES it! (as well as loves ON it.)

In between conference sessions, I made this hat for Lillie.  I thought it was so cute and it was fun to let her wear it all day.

Lillie is officially crawling now.  It has been really fun to see her learn so quickly.  Just a few days ago she could hardly go a foot, now she crawls from one room to the next and she is getting so fast.  We are needing to do some serious baby proofing.

We started to try the cry it out method.  For the last month or so, Lillie has not been sleeping well.  I was blaming it on teething, but once she wasn't teething anymore, she was still waking up every 1-2 hours every night.  It was awful.  We decided to try to let her learn to self soothe.  The first night she cried 15-20 min about 3 times and then slept from 2:30 to 7:30!  It was amazing.  The next night was even better.  We put her in bed and she played quietly for a little bit then cried for about 5 min and then slept from 11:00 till 6:30.  Best night ever.  Hopefully it will continue on.
